Hello guys! As I have told you in other blogs, I am studying Architecture at the University of Chile, the degree has had several changes in the subject of the mesh, in 2016 several subjects were changed and specialty electives were added to the training, something which in my opinion is fine, what I didn't like is that in 2022 they lowered the number of hours of these subjects to avoid the academic load problems that the degree has, but in this way the electives have fewer hours and it is spent less material and some teachers leave many tasks outside the classroom, which increases mental health problems. I think it would be very helpful for new generations to be taught BIM programs from an early stage in their degree since currently there are only a few branches that teach it (mainly electives), in addition to being few hours and for few students, which causes the studies to be inequitable.
